Yeah it was a huge pain. You log into your RAM portal, and then on the RAM portal there should be a thing at the top that says "click to set up email" and that should give you your RAM email. From there, there's a temp password on that same page that you use. It took like a day for something to show underneath my RAM id, before it was just like RAM ID: (here) and then it said farmingdale email: and was completely blank LOL.

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! I was rejected, but I got into Molloy so Molloy it is. To everyone who hasn't gotten into a program yet, don't give up! I went back to school at 37, and will be starting an RN program at 40. It's NEVER too late. Keep your head up, work hard, and one day you'll be where you want to be ?

Hi, I got accepted to the program but I have a full time job. Do you think I’d be able to work and do this program?

As long as you work at night and are committed you can do it. Good time management and take all the non nursing courses in the Summer to lighten the load during the semester.

I was following this comment chain as I applied, but finally made an account to comment. Anybody have any thoughts about Farmingdale vs Nassau? I'm leaning toward Farmingdale, but I'm just curious if anyone has any more info on these programs that isn't necessarily available online. Hope I get to meet a few of you this Spring in school!

Hi,

Did you get your acceptance from nassau yet? When I applied they said end of November but someone mentioned they got accepted already? I am leaning towards Farmingdale as well but still waiting for Nassau before I make my final decision.

I didn't apply to nassau but my friend did and I've been looking at the nassau board here. He got his decision last week. Has till today to give deposit.

I did, they gave me till today to give a decision - I’m going to decline Nassau and go with Farmingdale.

I have not heard from Nassau yet so I assume I wasn’t in their first round of acceptances. Some more people should hear from them after today it seems (since some people were given until today to accept or decline). I think the Farmingdale program is a better fit for me, but just wanted to feel out all of my options.

I just called, they said it my decision wasn't in yet. Maybe because I live in suffolk. I paid my deposit for Farmingdale. I think its a better fit for me.
