Farmingdale State College Spring 2022 Nursing Program

Hi guys, I am currently a student at Farmingdale under the STS major. I plan on applying for the Advanced Standing Nursing Program in Spring 2021. I have not seen a thread for Spring 2021 so thought I would make one. Everyone can write their stats, TEAS scores, GPA, questions, and any concerns about the program on here. Hopefully this helps everyone out!

I still don't see anything. im getting really nervous. I think was not accepted probably.

I think they would tell if you did not get in. Just wait I think you good.

I don't think so man. My GPA is only a 3.8 and my TEAS score is a 72. Im pretty sure I was rejected.

I also had a 3.8 GPA. Keep hoping girl unless you  see that rejection. Keep hoping!

thank you girl really means a lot. im literally balling my eyes out RN and getting so much anxiety over this. but thank you for this.

I got in!! Opened an account to post this but I also wanted to try to give some hope to those who are frantically refreshing emails / portals etc and waiting for news. Remember that a lot of potential nursing students apply to multiple schools and get accepted to multiple, so spots will open up as they choose the school they are going to. Nassau gave me a deadline of November 15 to respond back accepting or declining - so there may be news for those waiting for Nassau on the 15th who maybe didn’t make it in the first wave. Farmingdale gave me a December 1st deadline to accept/decline so maybe other spots will open up then!! Don’t give up hope, we all worked really hard and it will pay off!!

Congratulations! Yes I agree! Stay positive, there will be seats opening up as people make their decisions.  Good luck to everyone

I wonder how many people are on wait list and what the chances are of actually getting in from there. I already accepted suffolk but may change if I get called for farmingdale.

LOL guys I still do not see anything on portal. I asked the NursingInfo department and they said all applicants will know by the end of the day. I am pretty sure this means I was rejected sadly. Lowkey upset about it but congratulations to everyone that got in. I am truly so happy for you guys. You guys will be great nurses.
