FAMU Nursing Spring 2016

Published

Anybody applying to FAMU's nursing program for the spring?

I‘m just curious. Do any of you have experience in health care?

Did you always want to be a nurse?

Yes I do. I work as a CNA if that counts. I have always wanted to be a Surgeon but I realized that doctors do not spend quality time with their patients and try to get to know them outside of treating their patients. Being a nurse gives you a chance to relate to your patient as well as making their health care experience as comfortable as possible instead of seeing them for a few seconds and moving on to the next patient. They are people so why not show them dignity as a human being.

@Quimara22 CNA definitely counts. Growing up, I wanted to be a Family Physician, but as I grew older nursing appeared to be a better fit. I too desired the emotional and physical connection that many nurses share with their patients. Oh, I have my CNA license as well.

They should be making calls this week so keep your phones near you on loud. Keep the Faith!!!

Does anyone now how many get interviews and once that happens how many get accepted that got interviews?

Not sure sorry :( @Taytay99

I wanna say there are like 80 max interviews and 50-60 slots

Does anyone know when we be called for interviews? I am so nervous:(

Mrs. Tellis just called me!

I just got a call about a minute ago!!!!

Cool! Are they going alphabetically?

I doubt they are going in order.
