I see many NP ads at The Business Journals: Business News
For example, Philadelphia area NP positions
Good advice above. You can never discount the value of networking, it does wonders for you now and in the future.
I have noticed that HRSA has a list of facilities that are qualified and open positions, so does usajobs.gov. If nothing else there are a lot of job openings on those two sites that will give you good contacts to start looking at and go from there. Remember whenever you talk to someone at a facility and they can't help you, the next question should be "do you know anyone/anyplace that is looking....". Some will help, others will not, but leads lead to more leads.
My introduction to the NP market in my state was through the statewide (Texas) NP organization. As soon as I got into FNP school a couple of years ago, before class even started I signed up (which is often free for students). This eventually led me to meeting several NPs in my area and the discovery of a local NP organization.
Most jobs in my area are posted through our local organization. Job postings are also sent weekly via email at the state level for positions everywhere in Texas.
I can't stress enough how beneficial joining my state and local NP organizations helped me network and even find a preceptor for pediatrics. I recommend joining for all aspiring NPs.

Hi everyone. I'm an FNP student and have been trying to look at the job market. I do searches on Google and come up with sites like Indeed and Simply Hired. But they mainly post corporate-type positions. npworld.us has much of the same thing. My question is where are the family practice jobs posted/advertised? You know, the doctor and NP/PA combined offices. Just curious.
Thanks.
