Family Nursing (NRSE 330) summer 2012

Well i will be in this class for the summer session, i am hoping this experiencve wil be a positive one.

Ok this is the explanation I received. The answer that the professor marked as correct on the exam was actually wrong, because I notified her and explained to her where she could find the anwer in the book. I guess this messed up her PERFECT PAPERS that she was Sooooooooo Proud of. Whatever. Anyway she made a type O or something because of the answer saying 1000 she put 10,000. She thinks that if you put the same answer as she did then it is wrong so that is why you probably lost points. What a buch of crapp. I agree with the rest of you. I am so glad this class is over. I have never had a bad experience with any class except this one. The midterm was horrible and the final was horrible. Anyway good luck in the rest of your classes. If you go on Epic and look on module 5 QA the TA gave the explanation.

There is nothing in my section about why grades dropped. Still waiting on a grade for the final - everything else is graded.

Can they just give us our grades for the final so we can be done with this already. I want to enjoy my two weeks off until the next awful Gerontology class starts.

I have not had any of Mod 5 grades returned at this point...I do not know what to expect. My mid-term did go up slightly; not enough to make a difference. I cannot express how happy I am to be finished with this class. It was frustrating and discouraging. All I care is I pass and do not have to retake!! I am taking Gerontology next. I do hope this is a more interesting class. BTW did any have to take Chemistry on line??? If so where did you take it? Thx

I plan on taking it at Oregon University...online lab too. It's 8 weeks and approved by OU. Waiting till next year! So not ready! Let me know if you find any other places....

My midterm was lowered by .34....so weird and how can they do that after the fact????

Sounds like you all had a rough road with this class. I, personally, hated the nursing ethics because of the group assignments. Received my first B+ in that class and worked harder than any other class before it. I wrote to the professor and still have not heard a thing. That was back in the spring. I was discouraged then. Now, I just want to be finished! Luckily I did Family back in January. It went fine...however, I have realized that the same class can have a completely different outcome based on TA, professor etc.

Hideous class and I am glad to be done. Isn't it funny how each of us finds different classes to be horrible? I loved ethics!! And Management and Strategic Planning - and that was a huge surprise to me. 2 more nursing classes .... I can do this!

Thanks for the info, I have looked into this option. If I do take it it will be in January - I will also be taking one other class with OU and then I will be DONE!!! Cannot wait!

I checked for final grades for NRSE 330 and so far I have not seen anything...ugh! I am with all of you, worst class ever! I really hate to be so negative, but the problems with EPIC, lost assignment, disorganization, etc was such a frustration!

Ended up with a B+. I am beyond tired of this class and no curve again.

I got below 50% on the final and I thought I did better than the midterm! I ended up with a B+ too. First time I didn't get an A. How dissapointing. All that reading with no focus for test taking. Makes a student wonder why bother to read?
