Fall 2009 - Where is everyone applying?

I have seen many people posting lately that they will be applying for Fall 2009 admission. I thought it might be cool to post where everyone is planning on applying so we can support each other and maybe get to know who we might be going to school with or at least get to know our competition ;) I have always thought it was really nice to see all of the support people get here on this site. :redbeathe

I am looking at applying to TCU, Baylor, Kaiser, Northeastern, Old Dominion, and Medical University of South Carolina. I don't know if I will apply to all of them or not. Does anyone have any input on applying to this many schools or should I narrow it down? Wish me luck!!!

I've just finished sending in applications to Baylor, UT Houston, TCU, and Wesleyan. I cannot describe the agony of waiting. I guess we all have to go through it. It will just be nice to know where I'm going to be living in the next year.

I just turned my apps to Baylor and Wake Forest today. By the end of this week I plan on getting my apps in to TCU, VCU, RSNA and Old Dominion.

New here! All my apps are turned in. I chose OLOL Baton Rouge, Laroche/Allegheny Valley in PA, and Wolford in Naples. I'm wondering when I will hear about interviews but the app deadlines are Dec and April so I'm sure it will be awhile. Anyone else applying for the 2009 start?

I am also interested in Boston College. I am thinking of applying next year. Can you give me any advice on the interview process? How was it like? What were some of the questions? Do you know anyone that goes to school here? Your input would be appreciated.

My interview at BC went very well! I'm so excited!

"Get to know you" type behavioral questions. Why BC? Why CRNA route? etc. Very friendly Director and Asst. Director - it appears to be a very personable program where they want you to succeed -- cut throat diadiatic program, excellent clinical sites. They had current students there to answer questions about the program out of ear shot of interviewers - which was informative.

Acceptance letters will go out end Oct, begining Nov; classes start Jan.

Good luck to everyone interviewing and awaiting acceptance at their prospective schools -- fingers crossed! Anyone else interviewing at BC?

I applied to VCU, Univ of Maryland, Univ of Pitt, and Univ of Miami. Just got the call today from VCU for an interview. So damn excited. Just wish I knew what to look forward to related to the interview and the questions they're going to ask me.

I have applied to University of Cincinnati, and I am on pins and needles waitying to hear if I am going to get an interview. Does anyone know when they notify you if you are going to get an interview? Does anyone know what the interview and pretest is like?

I think they may notify on Oct 17th this year -- that's a calculation based on what people posted about last year. If you search this forum for "Cincinnati" you'll find a thread that started in July, I think, and it has a great discussion of the process at Cincy.
