  1. For students starting this fall (2010), the cost for the whole program -- but just tuition and fees, not cost of living allowances -- is $48,000 after the "scholarship" that is provided by Case. All students get whatever the scholarship allowance is for their time in the program. Cost of attendance allowance -- books, utilities, rent, etc. then adds quite a bit to the overall price, but that's the situation pretty much anywhere unless you don't need cost of living money. Case is structured so you borrow the bulk of the cost of attendance allowance in the first year because you do not have enough credit hours the last 2 semesters (and maybe 3 semesters -- unsure about this) to be able to apply for government funded student loans -- so you cannot borrow for cost of living allowance during that time via government loans. Be sure to compare apples and apples, i.e., tuition and fees from one program to tuition and fees of another -- not tuition, fees, cost of living to just tuition and fees.
  2. 49 yrs old and just started classes.
  3. Received an invitation to interview today via email from Univ. of Cincinnati!
  4. I was accepted into the UNE/St Joe's program. Does anyone know how much the "assistantships" (grants) are for the first year students? I haven't gotten a financial aid letter yet but need to plan my budget asap.
  5. anyone else an alternate at UNE? Any idea the chances for admittance when on this list?
  6. Beedog -- do you know if this is also pushing back the actual interview dates and acceptance notification????
  7. I think they may notify on Oct 17th this year -- that's a calculation based on what people posted about last year. If you search this forum for "Cincinnati" you'll find a thread that started in July, I think, and it has a great discussion of the process at Cincy.
  8. Anyone heard from Cincy, yet? I think interview invites will go out around Oct 17th -- based on my calculations from prior years -- but I'm unsure.
  9. Anyone seen an interview letter yet?
  10. Does anyone know if Case send out interview invitations via email or regular mail?
