They have asked me to repeat General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, A & P I & II, possibly biochemistry and microbiology, all of which I took in the early 90's. I actually have no problem re-taking these classes since my grades in the sciences were mediocre all those years ago. I feel that it will make my application more competitive. My concern is my age when I finish and apply. Nursing is my 2nd degree. My 1st degree was in Psychology, with a 3.0GPA. My nursing school GPA was 3.81, BSN. When I finish all science classes, I may be 45-46 years old and was wondering if any SRNA students have people this age in their class. Thanks for the reply. I really do appreciate it.

I am an ICU nurse of 13 years who is interested in becoming a CRNA. I was suppose to pursue this 11 years ago but got sidetracked by life, i.e., making good money ($90,000-$100,000/year), marriage, and a baby (who is now 21 months old). I decided to revisit my dream and recently had an interview. The panel informed me that I need to repeat ALL science classes, since they are greater than 5 years old. I am currently 42 years old. I am worried that by the time I repeat General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, Physics I & II, Anatomy & Physiology I & II, Biochemistry, and possibly some math class (if required, not sure), I WILL BE 46 YEARS OLD!! OR OLDER!! I am very concerned that I will be too old to go to CRNA school and was wondering if there is anyone in your class 46 years old or greater.
