Fall 2011 Western University of Health Sciences MSN-E

Published

Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

Any information would be helpful =)

SMU has a great reputation! It's the reason I considered it in the first place. In Northern California it appears to be the School to go to. It's even known here in Chicago! Good luck with whatever path you choose!

i actually just sent an email to an admissions counselor... i wonder if they will get annoyed :(... hopefully they won't get mad and then change my admission status because they are angry... now i regret sending an email :(

I just checked my email and I was accepted into Fall 2011! I think the email came around 11am, and my last name is early in the alphabet (maybe alphabetical?). I found out I got into CSULA yesterday so I will not be accepting the offer, opening up a spot for hopefuls :) :)!Best of luck to you guys and I know everyone on here will make great nurses regardless of the decisions that go out today :nurse:

hi dewdrops, congrats for the great news! just wondering, how early in the alphabet? mine is S... i feel as if they send emails all at once so all hope is lost :(

Just wanted to say that my last name is in the middle of the alphabet and I interviewed on Jan. 28th - this has been a really long wait for me.

sugarplum, my last name is with a C. Also, I doubt they send them all at once because mine were personalized letters with attachments. They have the name and address of each recipient, so I think they are sending them individually. Hope this helps.

my friend with the last name L got accepted and got an email in the morning. i had an early interview date too... it was january 31st, i believe. same day i interviewed. i am so bummed!! :(

I had a pretty late interview date-2/15- second to last date. I may be in for quite a wait

Are they doing emails only? And who are teh emails from? Are they from Ms. Mendoza?

And, in regards to SMU, i didnt know much about it until I applied, but supposedly it is theee well known nursing school in teh bay. It is prestigious.
