Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

What day do classes start Emily? 8/17? Still rooting for you!

Class does start on the 17th. I emailed Mrs. Watkins and she said she had her they may be adding more seats but hasent heard any official communication that they are accepting more students. She told me to remain hopeful. I am but I am nervous. I've already made changes to my work availability.

One big freaking high five. Like the moment I saw Fall 2016 update all nurses, I said this girl has to have written that's she's in! Well done Em! Well freaking done girl! Okay I'll harass you tomorrow. I'm sure you're celebrating right now! Crying, laughing smiling, more crying!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know I got a call today accepting me to the Fall program. I am of course not taking it since I've already gotten my uniforms and everything for this other school...so that's another spot opening for anyone behind me that was waiting to hear too!

Congrats Emily! So happy for you! It sounds like they opened more seats in the program. I wonder how many other people got off the waiting list.

It was so hard to turn down the seat because I really wanted Wake, but I've already gotten uniforms and my work schedule done...not possible í ½í¸•

APeregoy, do you happen to know how many seats the program opened up? I wonder how many people are still on the waiting list. There's still another 2 weeks before classes start.

I'm not sure...I was alternate 14 originally. But I'm not sure how many after me got in...at least up to alternate 15, since I didn't take my seat.

How many applicants are on the alternate list total? Is it 30?

No it's way more than 30, I think someone near me was like 59 or 63, something like that.
