Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.
My stats:
Overall GPA: 3.93
Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:
NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)
I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)
Goodluck and hopefully I get some replies!

Ok, that's what I thought. I found out through this experience that getting accepted to this school isn't based on GPA and the NET test scores like they had made it seem that way. I wasn't even offered an interview (unless it got lost in the mail) and my GPA is pretty decent. However, i wish every single one of you on here good luck! I hope yall get accepted!
I really have tried to find out. This is so frustrating! I've called and no one can tell me anything! I mean, that's a logical question is asked: Could my interview letter have gotten lost in the mail? The lady didn't say one word about it. I'm goign to email this lady. Someone tell me what to say! becasue obviously what I'm saying isn't working?
This is what I said in the email I just sent:Couldn't my interview letter have gotten lost in the mail? I mean, with a 3.9 prereq gpa and a 4.0 science gpa, I'm concerned. Based on what you all told me at the information session yall choose who gets an interview based on GPA and NET test scores, well if people who have scores less than me are getting interviews and I'm not then that information must not be correct. Sorry once again, I'm just a little confused becase I was really looking forward to at least getting an interview with you all.
Lol, I know that it sounds a little rude but quite honestl I don't think that i've had a fair shot like alot of people had.

I was told clinicals can be any day of the week and it is VERY important that you have a flexible schedule!!
