Fall 2011 TCU hopefuls

Is anyone else applying to TCU for next fall? I'm just waiting on my final grades from this semester at my CC before I mail my application. I still have to take A&P 2 and Micro in the spring, but I got a 91.86 on my HESI. I'm really anxious to just get my stuff in the mail already!

RBauer8814: My cumulative gpa is 2.68, but that's because I screwed up at the beginning of college when I thought I wanted to do pre-med. My more recent grades have been much higher. I've done well in all of my pre-reqs, but I have A&P 2 and Micro still in progress. My cumulative HESI score was 93% when I took it in November.

For extra stuff, I spent a year in Japan in high school on a scholarship, and I currently work with exchange students in the area for the same organization. I also volunteer at the Shriners hospital in Sacramento because I was a patient there once upon a time. I'm not sure to what degree extra stuff is taken into consideration, but I'm hoping my HESI score and pre-req grades make up for my bad academic record from freshman year :(. I'll just have to wait and see...

I'm not gonna expect to get anything in the mail until the end of this week. I live out in California and it took me 3 days to get my admission packet from TCU. Let me know when you guys hear something! Good luck!!!!!! :)

The TCU acceptance letters go out this week... but I'm pretty sure they won't go out until Friday.

I hope I'm not getting confused with another school... but I'm pretty sure the secretary told me that they'd be starting with e-mails first and then you should be getting the "official" acceptance letter later. The e-mail just serves as a "notification". I'll call tomorrow and let you guys know, just to double check!

Hey there,

I'm interested in applying to the accelerated program for entry in May 2012. When I apply by November 15th 2011 I'll have a&p1 finished, and will be enrolled in a&p2. When do I need to apply to tcu before applying to the nursing program? Can you give me advice on when/where I can take the admission test and what studying guide would be best for it? Does anyone have any advice for me??

I spoke with Justin today and he told me that they where mailed yesterday morning. Should get something b4 the week is out.:banghead:
