I have not heard anything either. It has been two weeks since they got my information for the back ground check and over a week for the drug test. If I don't hear anything today, I will probably call tomorrow. My husband thinks they are just waiting to bring everyone in the same day after they make all the final decisions from the newer interviews. Maybe, but we start Monday.

Congrats Sweetpea and jomajoma! I will see you in a little over a week then. Can't wait to meet you both! So happy for the two of you. I am very excited about this opportunity and feel very blessed to have this job! I guess jomajoma and I will pretty much be living together for the next three months...lol! I am so glad I started this thread. I am still going through the background check phase as well.

It has been opened and closed a few times then, because I know it closed beginning of September. I applied back in August. If you click on the description of the internship it should list all the departments participating. You are to provide a cover letter telling them your top choice, because you will only interview once. It explains all this in the description. At least it did when I applied.

Thank you! I was in a medical/surgical ICU for my last rotation as well and loved it. This is exactly where i want to be. I created this because i could not find anything on medical city except from a few years ago. I am not usually one to start threads, but I was tired of looking everyday to see if anyone else was posting. Lol! I heard they were behind on interviewing too.

I interviewed for CVICU and will be working in their SICU. I heard back a little over a week ago. When did you interview? Good luck!

Oh good, about the alphabetical order thing. I was beginning to worry they chenged their minds about me being in the program...lol! I am in the middle of the pack with Mc. Before I was married it was J. I am wishing I would have kept my last name right about now...lol!! Can't wait to meet you ladies, or maybe I already did...lol!

I have not received any permission codes yet. Did they email them? I am in the yellow group and then the black group for clinicals.

I am commuting from North Dallas/Addison area. How about everyone else? They are still processing my loans too, but I am going to try not to worry about it until I have to.
