Fall 2011 TCU hopefuls

Is anyone else applying to TCU for next fall? I'm just waiting on my final grades from this semester at my CC before I mail my application. I still have to take A&P 2 and Micro in the spring, but I got a 91.86 on my HESI. I'm really anxious to just get my stuff in the mail already!

Yes I had. 94+ in my hesi combined, and I know this year they only had about 5 spots available. It's real competitive if you just transfer... Unfortunately!

I am not a transfer student. It's actually kind of complicated. I was at TCU for two years and I was accepted into the nursing program as a freshman. I left TCU because I was having a really hard time with personal things and I was having some doubts about what I wanted to do with my life. I figured it was too expensive to not know what I wanted to do. But now I know for sure that I want to be a nurse so I called up there and met with **** to discuss my options and she basically told me I would be grandfathered in because I was already accepted into the program to begin with. I got pretty lucky with it I guess... but I still have to wait and see if I can get in because I am on the waitlist.

I have all of my prereqs done and I have nothing else left to take, so I am hoping it works out!

oh wow only 5 spots ? that's not even helpful :(... have you thought about baylor ? their nursing program is in downtown dallas connected to baylor hospital....

I have, but they are even more expensive than TCU, and right now that os what I am dealing with, also they have a lot of religion prerequisites that need to e taken there. But I'm sure is just as competitive

Just wanted to let you know that ZJ told me a couple of weeks ago that there aren't any spots available for me. Sooo, I was put on the waitlist for the Spring, and if I don't get in then, I will be pushed back to the Fall for sure. Evidently they are way overbooked for their program right now, even over their max limit for some reason. Needless to say, I am crushed. But, at least I know I will get in next Fall. I GOT IN!!! ZJ told me today that they had a spot for me. :) I am really stressed right now though because I have to figure out EVERYTHING this weekend. But I am okay with that ;)

Well it starts at 1 pm , till 4

We went over stress management, the requirements to take the NCLEX and stuff and we did our background and drug test

Which clinical section do you have? I may e able to tell you your hospital

I'm gonna be in section 100,

In Harris fort worth, for some reason I remember her saying that most of the transfers would go in that section.. Let me know where she puts you!
