Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent Program

U.S.A. Florida

Published

Alright, I know it's early but...who is planning on applying to the Fall 2014 SSC/UCF Concurrent program? I just finished my prerequisites today and I'm so excited to get going. I am planning on taking the TEAS for the first time in January so hopefully I'll do well.

One question I have is what should I do during the spring semester? I completed my AA degree as of today but unfortunately, my family kind of relies on my FA money to get by. I'm wondering if there is an AS degree I can enroll in so that I'm still eligible for FA until the nursing program starts. I saw something for Health Information Technology that might work. Anyway, just thought I'd see who else is applying and if anyone else is in the same financial situation as me.

I hope to get to know some of you soon!

Yea I'm excited ... I hope I get in the first time!!

Hey everyone!

I turned my application in at Alt campus this morning. It didn't say a number! There was a new sheet and 3 other people signed in(all 3 'yes' for concurrent). Goodluck to

everyone! Now we wait !!!!

What GPAs do they look at ? Just overall? Or pre req, overall and science?

well ppl might be turning in applications at different locations ... I was number 35

Oh, I totally realize that there are applications being submitted at the other campuses, I think I just expected more at Altamonte.

I submitted mine at Altamonte around 10:30 yesterday. Did they not tell you to write the number next to your name on your envelope? The list was a few pages long when I got there.

No, they just told me to write my name! I wished I knew! Now it's going to drive me crazy!

A friend of mine dropped hers off today and she knew nothing about the numbers either. Maybe I'm the crazy one?!?

They definitely told me to put the number next to my name when I dropped mine off. Maybe that person forgot to inform you of that.

I was number 26 I believe at the Altomante Campus.. Sounds like there's less people perhaps! Goodluck everyone!!! Can't wait to meet you all hopefully in the Fall!

When do we find out? 4 weeks? What are everyone's stats if you feel like sharing? Hope everyone gets in :)

We should hear back 6-8 weeks after tomorrow.

I have a 3.7 recalculated GPA, finished my prereqs in Fall 2013, and scored a 94 on my TEAS. Hopefully that's good enough to get me in.

Awesome stats! I think you have a great chance! I'm not sure which gpa they look at? The pre reqs? Or overall? For the SSC pre req (the one from the actual SSC application), I have a 3.5 GPA, 91 on the TEAS, and finished classes fall 2013.
