  1. Interesting. I wonder if it's groups by major or what. Thanks for the info, though! I would very much like to meet anyone who's coming then. Hopefully it is by major that they divide us so that they can give us more specific information. I was told the nursing advisors would be present for orientation that day as well.
  2. I'm under transfer orientation. I think you should be too. I think FTIC is for exactly that- people who have never been to college. Transfer is just for anyone who's coming to UCF from another school, including those like me with an AA from Seminole/Valencia/Other. Oh awesome. :) I guess we will have to arrange to wear something specific so we can identify one another. I'm not sure how the orientation even goes (As in what we do all day), to be honest. Any ideas?
  3. I have my orientation scheduled for the 9th. I'm not sure if it's still open to join for that one or not, but it would be cool to meet someone there. Or others as well, if they're coming then. :) I have interest in the SNA, but I'm not sure if I will join. But I haven't heard of the LEAD scholars.
  4. Hopefully we will get it by the end of the week. She did tell me it would be about a week, so in any case it won't be long. :) I'm still so very happy about it all, and so grateful to have been accepted.
  5. Hey guys! I found a Facebook group for the Basic BSN people. :) https://www.facebook.com/groups/569645509801463/
  6. It didn't occur to me, but you're 100% right. We wouldn't want anyone to be left out because of scheduling. :) I know what you mean, though. I will be just sitting here, calmly doing something, and then suddenly I remember that I got that email of a lifetime, and I can't stop myself from getting super excited. I can't wait to get into this awesome program and put myself to the test and come out a great nurse. And of course I can't wait to meet all of you guys here who have been keeping me calm through all of the waiting.
  7. I know what you mean! It feels so nice to not have to check it every time it goes off on my phone. I feel so much more relaxed knowing I got the answer I wanted, too. :)
  8. I actually got a chance to ask, and I was told it should take about a week and will be sent via email. :) So don't worry.
  9. I'm honestly really unsure of how the groups work. I don't know how to make or join one. I mentioned earlier though, if anyone can make one, please do, so then we can all join and chat more. :)
  10. Wow! I'm surprised you were waitlisted considering how close we are in scores! I have faith you're near the top as well. Good luck! I really hope one (or both) will contact you soon and say you're in!
  11. Someone should set up a Facebook group for all of us. I would but I'm not sure how to, really. If anyone does know how and can make one, please post it so we can all join. :)
  12. Seriously! I want that MoA so I can get all the things done ASAP. I know we have to do a drug test, get our immunizations done, and do our CPR but I'm not sure if there's anything else on that list I haven't heard of before. So the sooner the better.
  13. I'm sending my blank reply RSVP now! I am going to be way too happy at work tonight.
  14. I just got my email, too!! I am over the moon, I'M IN!! I can't wait to meet all of you!!
  15. I think that sounds like a great idea, Ali. I would love to meet everyone, should I get that great acceptance email. :) This week should definitely be the week. This Saturday makes 8 weeks from the deadline. I got an email this morning and almost died of sudden shock in my half asleep state, but it wasn't it.
