Fall 2018 Nursing Sierra College

Published

Hello all!

Today was the first day to submit a nursing application for Sierra!

I just wanted to start a thread so we can keep each other updated. This is my first time applying for Sierra. I applied for Sac State and Stanislaus spring 2018 and didnt get in. I had a low Teas score of 77, so i retook it and got an 85. I might re take again....not sure.

Who else is applying? how many times have you applied for sierra?

Good Luck everyone!!!!

Hello,

I heard that you are able to apply to the LVN program while you wait to get into the RN program? Is this true? Has anyone done this and if so, were you able to take RN program Pre reqs while in the LVN program?

Thank you for your help!

Sierra does not have an LVN program.

Hi everyone! For those who got accepted to Sierra and were at Orientation on Tuesday. I am one of the people in charge of our mentor program and we have created a Facebook group in order for those to join and ask questions regarding class/clinical. We are currently still trying to pair students up, but this group will help out in the meantime, and also be there to ask questions if your mentor doesn't know. We are here for your support, and we all want you to succeed. The name of the group is "Current Sierra College Nursing Students." You do not have to join if you don't want to.

I have a quick question, I'm planning to apply next year, for the nonscience gpa, what classes are involved into the gpa? Just math and english?
