Fall 2014 Nursing School Applicants KC Area

Published

Hello everyone,

I am just going out on a limb here and starting a thread for this years' applicant pool for the Kansas City area. I realize that notifications/application letters are not expected to be delivered until March (next month). However, as I am positive I am not the only one anxiously awaiting news, I thought it'd be a good idea to start a post. I have applied to the fall 2014 Saint Luke's, KU, Mid-American Nazarene University ABSN program, and UMKC's ABSN program. Has anyone else in the area applied to any of these programs? How about scholarship searching? Good Luck everyone!

Have you heard from any of the schools that you applied to??

Good Afternoon! No I have not heard any news yet. What about you??

Just got a call from Saint Luke's stating I was accepted there for fall 2014!! yay!!

Hi, have they sent you any email to confirm your application ?

By the way congratulation for your acceptance!!

Hey Stkn, no to the email. They called today, and also stated that they are mailing out paperwork that should arrive by mid next week. He did give me a deadline for when the deposit down is due about a week after. I'm sure the packet will contain greater detail. Thank you! Have you applied anywhere?

I am reapplied for this semester! And only put my egg in saint luke basket! I was told I was #3 in waitting list but the day after he called me back and tell me to reapply for fall because I hadn't had speech and sociology! I felt so down at the time, I really nervous for the second trial!

Oh, I know how that feels. I am sure you will hear from them soon! Keep your head up the waiting is the hardest part. I am nervous about financial aid and fear of not receiving any scholarships, etc. I have a previous bachelor's degree so I am well aware that I will not be getting federal assistance, other than loans. eek I have enough of those already!

Have you heard from KU yet? Or only St Lukes

Nothing from KU yet. You?

No- hoping they all send out something soon
