Fall 2014 Nursing School Applicants KC Area

Hello everyone,

I am just going out on a limb here and starting a thread for this years' applicant pool for the Kansas City area. I realize that notifications/application letters are not expected to be delivered until March (next month). However, as I am positive I am not the only one anxiously awaiting news, I thought it'd be a good idea to start a post. I have applied to the fall 2014 Saint Luke's, KU, Mid-American Nazarene University ABSN program, and UMKC's ABSN program. Has anyone else in the area applied to any of these programs? How about scholarship searching? Good Luck everyone!

Got a call from saint Luke's today and I've been accepted!

I'm assuming if I haven't gotten a call yet then I either haven't gotten in or have been put on the waiting list. Has anyone heard from MNU yet? I feel physically ill I am so stressed about hearing back.

RachaelHarvey, I wouldn't worry yet about Saint Luke's. They're taking their sweet time to make calls to people. You could probably call or email them and ask if you wanted to?? I had to call KU Med yesterday because my letter got lost in the mail. No shame in calling :)

I have received a letter from KU and the paperwork from Saint Luke's, but nothing from MNU yet. I agree RachelHarvey, calling never hurts :)

I also live in Illinois so maybe it takes an extra day or two to get to me. I have been checking the mail frantically every day!

I have decided to attend Saint Luke's! Has anyone else who is attending received their email with the next steps? I turned my deposit in on March 10th and still haven't heard anything back.
