I am beginning a BSN program beginning in the Fall of 2014 at the University of Kansas School of Nursing. The orientation isn't until about a week before classes start. Are there any good tips on how to prepare for the program or for nursing school in general? Are there any good things to know going in? What is some of the best advice you have for new nursing students? What is some of the best advice you've received? Are there certain things I should buy now? I'm so nervous about beginning nursing school and I would love input on how to succeed. Thank you!

I was wondering the same thing, but I'm sure those were started after classes started. Even if we did start one, we wouldn't know who to add so it probably wouldn't work yet! That's great that you are going to be a regular student! I didn't ever take college classes while I was in, and particularly for my rate so I wasn't sure how it worked. Like I said before, I'd like to know at least a person or two before showing up the first time so I don't feel completely alone. I'm very nervous as is!

Will you be attending the program as normal for the two years? Or does the Marines have you doing something different? I don't know anyone else going and I'd hate to not know anyone going in!
