Nursing program
Published
Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.
Hello all! I just took my TEAS today for the second time (I took the first one in October) and I got a 77.3. Literally .7 away from advanced. I am so bummed, but keeping my fingers crossed! I'm proficient and I believe the 82nd percentile. I applied today, but I'm super nervous. I applied for RN and LPN. I will be getting my liberal arts degree this May, so I am hoping that will count towards something. I have almost of my pre-reqs done or in progress. All A's & 1 B+. My rubric score overall is not high and I am taking 3 pre-reqs now, but I do have a 3.5 GPA overall. Not sure if they take this into consideration ? any advice is appreciated. Good luck everyone!

I attended an info session for the program via Zoom yesterday and the woman running the presentation said that decisions should be sent via email around early April.

I was confused about that as well. I submitted it anyway just to be on the safe side.
