FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Does anyone know the deal with the bridge program with stony brook? 

During the February info session, I believe they said the Stony Brook NursingFirst program will be discussed during orientation.

There are two approved ways of creating a special area for your cohort on this site.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: create a "club" for your cohort by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on “Create A New Club” in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

For those who were accepted, when do you have until to accept or decline the offer?

I did not receive an acceptance or a denial email. Is anyone else in the same boat here? Does no acceptance email = denial? To my understanding, both acceptance and denial emails were sent out yesterday so I am curious as to why I have received nothing.

Hey! I know a bunch of people that haven’t received acceptance or denial letters. They were told by admissions to give it till the end of the week and they should know. They said it was still under review. You’re not alone, Don’t give up!!  

You have until April 21st to put down your deposit.

I am cool with whichever works best for everyone.. I would think Group me would be better but I’m not entirely sure:)

Hi everyone! I was also accepted to Ammerman’s RN program. I’m open to either group me or facebook. I’ve never used groupme but facebook might be easier for other students who aren’t on this page to find. So maybe do both?

OMG thank you! I'm over here freaking out, especially because I am the only one I know who has received nothing. I am praying that I get in. I really want RN, but I did put my second option as PNU. Does anyone know when PNU acceptance letters are sent??

Congrats to all who have been accepted and good luck to those still waiting! I have been accepted to Grant and a way to connect sounds great. I have no preference ?
