FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I put LPN as my second choice.. Maybe that's why I haven't heard anything for RN? I didn't get a denial email or acceptance. Ughhh!

I received my acceptance via personal email and my SCCC email.

Same on both personal and suffolk email... and I got a text message too!

You are going to want to create a Suffolk email because if you do get accepted, they send all the information that you need to know to that email.

Hi,

I’ve been following this thread for awhile now. I received my acceptance to the Grant campus today at 1:41pm to my personal email, and then at 1:42pm to my Suffolk email account. They came from the Office of Admissions.
Congrats to everyone who got in!! And if you didn’t, keep trying, I know tons of people who didn’t get in at first and then eventually did. 
I’m going down to Grant tomorrow morning at some point to make my deposit in person. I’m so excited to meet everyone, and I’m so anxious to know what our next steps are!

Hi,

I wanted to put this out there. I will be attending the Fall RN At Ammerman. Congratulations to all who were accepted. For those who didn’t hear or got a denial letter, keep your head up and mind moving forward. I came back to college as an older adult and got a denial back in 2018. I did not apply for the LPN, but they reached out to me and offered a seat because I missed the RN by a fraction of a point. I had a decision to make... Either accept the LPN seat or wait until the next calendar year to take the TEAS again and re-apply. Time wise it made sense for me do the LPN and keep it moving. I am so happy I did the LPN program. It was a great experience. Now I will keep it moving again in the RN program and work as a licensed LPN while I go for my RN. My path may be longer, but the end game is still the same. I wish everyone the best, no matter your path. Never stop trying to attain your dreams! Any questions about the LPN program feel free to send me a message.

I got accepted to grant I applied last semester and didn't get in 2 of my friends got in and I did not( I was super embarrassed /disappointed) . I was upset for a long time but I kept saying to myself I  have to try again. And I got in. When it's your time nothing can stop you.

Big, big congratulations to everyone accepted thus far! I also received an email saying I’m accepted to Ammerman! I’m on board with creating a facebook group/GroupMe chat for the incoming cohort. ? And for those of you who applied to the LPN program, best of luck! Please keep us updated as to whether you’re accepted or not!

To those who weren’t accepted, I know it’s not easy. This personally isn’t my first time applying to a nursing program. Allow yourself time to feel what you’re feeling, but always remember that there’s SO many nursing programs out there and there’s guaranteed to be at least one that won’t think twice about accepting you! ❤️ I have faith in all of you!
