Nursing program
Published
Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I created a facebook group for Fall 2021 LPN. I didn't see any others created. We can join there
For those of you who have paid your deposit: has your curriculum been changed to Nursing in the system yet? It says in the email: "Once we receive your tuition deposit, your curriculum will be changed to the Ammerman Day Nursing program". I paid mine several days ago, but I haven't noticed a change when I do my Degree Works Degree Audit.
I paid mine and they told me it would update right away when they collected payment. So I checked and noticed it hadn't changed. So I ran upstairs to admissions and spoke to a woman who asked for my paperwork to confirm I paid the deposit, she pulled out my application, went over some things with me, and made the adjustment. I was told we won't be able to register for the Nursing classes until orientation though. Which is a bummer..
I'm sure they are waiting to see how many don't pay the $100 confirmation... I'm sure there are some people that will decline or have chosen to go to another school or personal reasons... there are 56 slots at each school..total of 112 spots if only 100 people guarantee their spot they can send out more to other people till they reach the 112
