Fall 2015 MSCC Nursing Hopefuls

As a lurker of allnurses and hopeful applicant to Motlow State Community College's RN program, I thought I would create a thread to meet others who are impatiently waiting for an acceptance letter! I know if you're like me, you are counting down the days and wonder where you stand. Here we can discuss questions concerning Fall 2015 and share what our scores are, in hopes of feeling more confident! I have a 707 and feel like it's right on the edge...And was also wondering from ones who were previously accepted, where are some places MSCC does clinicals? I look forward to hearing responses from other Motlow applicants! :)

Hi! I've also applied for fall 2015 MSCC RN program. I was accepted last year, but unfortunately ran into some financial aid problems directly before the beginning of classes. I was very heartbroken, but there's always this coming year! I have a 4.0 GPA and a HESI score of 89.6. My overall score is 748. When I worked at Harton in tullahoma they held clinicals there. I'm unsure if they still do. That's the only site I know of.

Hi, I also applied to Motlow State Community College's RN program for 2015. This wait is killing me already!! I scored a 84 on the Hesi and have a 4.0 for a grand total of 720. I am praying that's enough. I also lurk on this site and noticed very little activity this year vs last year I just hope that is a good sign. I know that several of my friends I have made throughout my pre-reqs classes didn't score high enough on the Hesi for admission or dropped out altogether during A&P classes. Have you by any chance heard what the amount of applicants for 2015 was? Which school was your first choice?

I have also applied for the fall 2015 program. Last year several of my friends got in with points ranging from 650 to 706, I hope that helps calm some fears. We should be getting our letters in a couple of weeks!

Just wanted to wish everybody a good luck in getting into the program, my name is Ali, and I'm in Motlow Nursing class of 2016, and in my second semester now!! If you have any question I would be more than happy to answer it as the time permit.

I am in Dosage and my professor said start checking emails April 10th...Has anyone heard anything so far? That is great news about the scores from last semester!!

Good luck to you all! I got accepted last year with a 705. If you scored over 700, you have a pretty good chance.
