Starting this thread for anyone that have questions or concerns about the 2018 fall nursing program at Miami Dade College. I have a 4.0 science gpa and studying to take the hesi by the end of February. I also plan on applying for the generic full time as well as the accelerated program because I'm not sure which one I want yet. I already have a bachelors from FIU and I literally started all the prerequisites the summer of 2017. If anywho took those sequences can you please share your stories? Pro and con.. And also what is the hesi like!

Hello SahylyFutureBN87,
I see you have applied in February, I did it on March and yes the wait seems forever.
What is your competitive score?
I'm also very anxious, hopefully, we all can make it.

I have a 3.9 GPA and my Hesi score was 91.14. I think my competitive score is 93.6.
What is everyone's?
I know, right? :-(.
I do think(hope) it won't get to July. Just as ksteele18 and nurseoverdue said, there are deadlines to meet and several batches of people to accommodate after they start sending the letters. I think chances are really that we get those letters in the last 10 days of this month. Last year was on the 20th...somewhere around that. Right now the only certain thing is that classes start on August 27th so all has to be ready way before that.
