Hey y’all! I recently got accepted to Mercer’s pre-licensure nursing program for Fall 2021. Creating this thread so other people thinking about applying or who have been accepted can talk.
@FutureRNToya84 that’s a great way to look at it because where one door closes another opens! You are already on the right track by maintaining a positive outlook. One school doesn’t determine your future anyway! Good luck at GSU and anywhere else you pursue. I actually graduated from GSU. If you need any pointers or have questions feel free to message me. Wishing you the best.

Thank you so much!!
That’s a good question. I’m unsure. I thought the deadline for the ABSN admission for fall 21 was July 16th. What did the email state the extension was for?
I would guess, it’s probably more so that a lot of people have been requesting an extension bc there not very few ABSN programs in GA and many of them have already closed there deadline so students may be requesting extensions
Hello.
the Deadline for the BSN program was May 1st but then they moved it to May 14th, then June 1st and now June 4th. I am so curious about it!
My email stated: Hey Camila! This is Lynsey from Mercer's College of Nursing! The deadline for the traditional BSN is approaching! To be considered for Fall 2021, you must submit all remaining admissions requirements no later than June 4, 2021. You can find a list of missing documents on your self-service portal!
@Maria9114 oh I see ! You are applying for the BSN program. I believe most of this thread is for the ABSN. I have no idea about the BSN program. On the bright side, extensions are always good if you need more time. Your admissions counselor may know why they extended it.

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted and getting an acceptance. I received my denial letter today, but it's OK because I had 3 more classes for them and now since I know my status for this school, I can enjoy my Summer... LOL
