Hey y’all! I recently got accepted to Mercer’s pre-licensure nursing program for Fall 2021. Creating this thread so other people thinking about applying or who have been accepted can talk.

Congrats!! How exciting!...I also applied for Fall 2021, still got additional pre-reqs. to complete this Summer since their requirements are slightly different from other GA Universities. Taking my Tea's again this Saturday. Praying I get in for fall 2021 but if not I plan to resubmit my application again for next year. I heard they keep your file for two years.

GoodLuck. I currently have 4 remaining prerequisites but I plan on finishing them up this Summer.

I have five since they added that Patho and I'm taking 3 this Summer, I'm worried because with working full-time, I may cant handle 5. So I'm trying to figure that out as we speak. LOL Good Luck to you too!

Hello Everyone , 

Congrats to everyone, I also got accepted to Mercer. I have three pre-reqs to complete . I working on them now and using portage learning to complete the classes.

Congrats!! I know you are excited!! Quick question... Does financial aid cover portage learning at all? Or is that strictly out of pocket?

Thanks, yes I am ? . Unfortunately, it's out of pocket. I chose this route because I can do the class work at my leisure .

That's great! I was hoping to do the same but its pricey with the classes I need. Trying to work a plan..... maybe taking a few at my campus this Summer and remainder online. If I am able.

Hello everyone. I recently applied for the Fall 2021 nursing program at GBCN. I am still awaiting to hear if I will get accepted or not. It's a very nerve wrecking experience. I currently just have one more pre-req to finish and am planning on doing so this Summer. I will keep you posted on my acceptance. Best of luck to you all!

Congrats for getting accepted. I applied for Fall 2021, and I am still waiting for a yay or nay. I took 5 classes for Spring semester one of them (nutrition), is still in process through portage learning. Super anxious, was told the 11th is the latest I will know anything. Still have to submit my final grades for this term.

OMG! I just submitted my application yesterday and let’s just say I’m super nervous. Hopefully I know something by the end of next week.
