Hey y’all! I recently got accepted to Mercer’s pre-licensure nursing program for Fall 2021. Creating this thread so other people thinking about applying or who have been accepted can talk.

Curious to know if you don’t get accepted do they still notify you or don’t notify you at all?!! I’m getting so anxious and wish I could know already.

I spoke with someone like an hour or so ago and let him know my situation. He said I would know something by the end of the week. So hey just call or email them about your application status. I promise your going to get in don’t worry about that.

I was told you are notified whether it’s an acceptance or denial. My acceptance was sent via electronic email. It’ll say you have an update on your application status and a link will be attach to log in and view. Could be different from person to person but for me everything was updated electronically. Also sometimes your admission counselor will know/ find out before you. In my case I actually found out before my counselor.

Naturally priority goes to applicants that submitted everything well before the mid July deadline. It also of course helps if you have good stats. So find ease in knowing you are way ahead of the “competition”. Trust in your hard work and know that you will get in !
