I thought I would start a thread for those of us who have been accepted and are attending NH in July! I am soooo excited to get started! I will be attending the May 15th orientation. Let's all help and encourage each other as we start this crazy journey!
Hey guys, I'm a bit late but I'm in! You ladies are super women to be doing all of this with children. I'm alone in Houston, no family or kids or spouse but money is still an issue for me. My bills are hard enough as it is without school related supplies and fees. Is there anything available for me at TWC? How much was the drug test? I'll be at the June 4th orientation. :)
Go to the twc and ask to speak to someone in financial aid, I'm in the same boat as you. No kids, no support. You need to put in your application with them ASAP because it has to go through an approval process.... I went on tuesday as soon as I received my acceptance email. Bring a copy of your dl, ss card, 6.5 months of pay stubs or w2 or tax return, your unofficial transcript and acceptance letter. You can fill out your application while you're there that's what I did!!
Did anybody go to the TWC in Conroe? They were so rude. I wanted to talk to someone besides the front desk and she wouldn't let me she just took application and told me to call back in a month? I asked if I was going to receive a confirmation email that my application was submitted and she said no. I'm so confused.
So does anybody know what the hours will be like besides 8-5 for the first three weeks?
After those three weeks (which still isn't that time all day everyday), You will be divided into groups. Then you will have lecture Monday and Tuesday then clinical will be either Wednesday or Thursday. Unless your class will be starting some new schedule we don't know about yet. Hopes that helps.

It does take a few weeks to be processed. It is income based and they didn't tell me what the cut off was but I assume it work depend on the size of your family as well. You should call and ask to speak to someone in financial aid or stop by the office.
