Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I guess I can email the director just in case but it was always tbd and she said now it’s in August. I’m just worried about the books and paying for the classes, it just seems so last minute. The rest I can just do on castlebranch no big deal.

Welcome to cf nursing program. Get use to it because everything they do is last minute. We start second semester in a week and they just gave us our schedules a few days ago and we still don’t have our book list for one of the classes. I think they do the schedules last minute to see who passes the final exams and who will move on to the following semester.

My name is Lori, I was accepted into Lonestar North Harris. I was unable to attend the orientation due to a family emergency ( this was approved by the nursing director) can anyone tell me what I missed? Thank you!

Does any one know what is included in the Lippincott bundle? Does it only consist of books or books and online resources?

Books and resources, the book binder for elsevier I bought it individually already, I found them cheaper on my end, most through amazon and one on eBay.

How was your schedule like the first semester? Since our orientation is literally 4 days before school starts I'm assuming we won't get our schedules until then and would like to possibly start planning work around it.
