Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I got my rejection today too, finally. I applied for the LVN program. Crossing my fingers I get in to that one. I did start a post on allnurses for the LVN hopefuls.

I will be applying to CyFair and Kingwood in June. I also retook English this last semester so my new score will be a 7.6 which should hopefully get me into Kingwood which is my first choice.

Also is any one else taking pharmacology during the first semester, or am I the only one ?

The ebook bundle is $450.59, but if you purchase separately it is $713.80. The print versions are $798.85 separately or $501.62 if you get the bundle. She said we use these books throughout the whole program, we won't have to buy more later. There are more books that we need that are not included in these bundles though, from what I understand and according to the sheet the director gave us.

Ah ok so it looks like it’s the same as North harris then. Guys I just got an email reminder of orientation for May 23rd and it said at the bottom to bring along the attached agenda and book list. What agenda and book list?! I didn’t get any of that only acceptance letter and some instructions.

I don't know about that either because today is the first time I've seen the book list and I haven't seen an agenda yet. Maybe email someone and ask or it could be a miscommunication if they thought they already sent it perhaps.

Mine was an attachment with the email. There are two: the agenda and the book list which is an excel file.

On that same email? I check my email through my phone but normally it shows the files. Was that with the acceptance letter?
