Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Did you apply to the LVN program? I went ahead and applied to it. That is only a year then they said it is easier to get into the ADN Nursing program as a Transition student.

What was the score you applied with for the Lvn? Isn’t it more then the adn score?

It depends on what your grades in A&P I and A&P II are. I got A’s in both of those classes so yes I will be going in with a 7.408. I would have gone into the ADN with that had I gotten an A in English instead of a B. But going into the ADN program from Transition I will be going into the program with a huge jump up in score since I got an A in Pharmacology already.

Question about the participant release form for castle branch.... Are we supposed to fill in the dates on the form?

I got my rejection letter today. I knew I didn't get in, but it's nice having some actual communication in regards to my application! I'm so happy for everyone that got in! Those who didn't, keep trying! I will be applying again in June, after my new English score is posted. Anyone else applying to Lonestar for the ADN and LVN programs next application cycle?
