Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone know if the physical form can be filled out by a nurse practitioner since they do perform physicals? Or does it have to be a doctor? I have an NP that normally does my physicals.

Did you apply to the LVN program? I went ahead and applied to it. That is only a year then they said it is easier to get into the ADN Nursing program as a Transition student.

I haven't received anything either I was really hoping today. I just really want closure so that I know what step to take. No I didn't I'm just going to retake ENGL 1301 in order to get an A and increase my score for next nursing application. Yes I've heard it's easier but also competitive since they don't accept a lot of applicants for the transition program. Best of Luck with the LVN application hopefully that goes by much faster!

Montgomery said it is actually easier to get into the transition ADN from the LVN. They take 30 people and the other schools take 20+. I already took my Pharmacology class with Mrs. G and got an A so that will up my points to get in also. I will also be retaking my English class too to get an A in it. Darn 3 week one kicked my butt ?

I was also wondering about a drug test for Tomball. I don’t see any info on a drug test.
