Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I, along with a couple other people, only got the email on our personal accounts. By the way, someone said it earlier but check your spam folders just in case

Did anyone get the fingerprint email today? Has a new round of emails started? ?

7.6 CyFair first choice and still no fingerprint email. Checked spam, personal, and lonestar email. Still nothing!

Not true... I got a pretty low score (applying to M... huge possibility that i'm not getting in) and got a fingerprint email but my friend who also applied (with a significantly higher score to NH) didn't get an email. Since we are applying to different campuses, it leads me to believe that it depends on if and when the campus sent their rosters. Idk... but we will hear something by June (hopefully). I need some peace of mind.

I'm just going off what I read on the board site. ?‍♀️ if people who will be denied got fingerprint emails that means lone star sent everyone's names in...which seems a little unnecessary.

You might not have gotten into M but your other choice and that’s who list you are on for fingerprints

Could’ve been from your second or third choice. Depends on the campus..also someone stated earlier in the thread that they spoke with someone when they called and was told if you got the email it means you are either an alternate or your were accepted. Seems redundant to send in every single applicants name, including those denied acceptance.

What were your scores and campus choices?

Maybe your friend has already done the fingerprint part awhile ago, because a lot of us didn’t get the email either, but we have done our fingerprint parts when we were applying for other programs. ( for me example, I’ve done it before Fall last year, when I applied for LVN Fall 2018). So to you and your friends, please don’t loose hope. ☺️

Question. Does anyone here know what the schedule for Kingwoods program looks like? I heard its not full time, but wasn't sure.
