Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I'm here w/ the nursing advisor right now. She said they are shooting for this Friday or Next. She also said they could go out anytime during the week as well but she's aiming for Friday.

We were told yesterday that it could be tomorrow or next Friday! They are waiting for one more campus to finalize a few things! And also a hand full of us received fingerprint (identgo) emails yesterday from Montgomery and Northbound Harris

Did everyone who got their fingerprint emails only see it in their personal? No email sent to your lone star email?

I've stayed off of here for a few days for finals and I MISSED SO MUCH. Now I won't be able to stop obsessively checking my emails for the next week ??? Ya'll got me so excited/nervous. It seems like Cy-Fair is the "campus we're waiting on." I'll be chanting with Faith today in hopes that I can finally breath normally again tomorrow & celebrate on Mother's Day. Put some positive vibes out there guys! Also: I went to my IdentiGo appointment & they wouldn't let me use my husband's card to pay for it because he wasn't there (& it was in his name) & I had to reschedule. They also didn't take cash at the location I went. Just a heads up for anyone getting ready to go in soon. GOOD LUCK!!!!

What exactly are you saying happens with every application based program? Them changing the date notifications are supposed to be sent out? Because when I turned in my application the notification date was APRIL. If it had always said June everybody would be calmly waiting until June, but that is not the case.

Mine said June when I applied

Wasn’t Montgomery your first choice!? Montgomery was the first to change theirs on the website, the other campuses didn’t change their until like a week or so after applications closed

Yeah. I also applied late after i got notification that i didn't get into UT Health ? I think I applied like April 5 lol

I seem to be late to the conversation -that's what happens with a husband, three kids, and two dogs! I applied to Montgomery and I think the website said June back in January. Probably a snafu somewhere. I couldn't help myself and called about the fingerprint thing. They told me that all applicants were sent on a roster of some sort to the board of nursing so I am not sure that being told to get fingerprints means we got in. Guess we'll have to wait -ugh.

@lscstudent @shirley23 yes the website didn’t always say June at first it said April! And a ton of us called about it and we were told that they were having staffing changes so they change the notifications dates to June to give them some cushion but they were trying/hoping to get them out well before then! So yesterday anperson who is in the program and who talked to the advisor was told by the advisor that emails should go out somewhere between this Friday and next Friday!

I still have yet to get a fingerprint email but my score is lower than a lot.

Usually only people who got in or were alternates are sent on the roster
