Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

Maybe at NH. They have 120 spots. I had a friend get into NH as her 2nd choice with a 7.3. CF is pretty competitive since they only have 50 spots. I am at CF and the score cut-off for my cohort was around a 7.5. Only about 4 alternates got accepted and the lowest score was a 7.4. No info on T, sorry.
Okay y'all I might be overthinking or stressed LOL.. but I'm currently sitting at a 7.376 & I'm debating on if I should retake the HESI or not before the deadline. I'm registered to take it on Thursday & the only reason why I'm taking it is to ensure me a spot for fall admissions. However, I'm looking at last fall's forum and people as low as 6.99 ended up getting accepted. Should I retake the HESI or save myself time & sanity and just stay with my score? LOL thanks in advance!

If you do take it at Lonestar, just remember they automatically take your latest grades, so if you get lower this time around they will take that score instead of your highest grade.
Hello everyone,
I have just applied to the Lonestar Cyfair, Tomball, NH, and Kingwood for the fall 2019 admission period. My choices are in the order that they're listed above. My score is 7.50. Not sure what my chances are for admission with this score, but i would like to be carried along with the discussion. Please, does anyone know if it is too late to register for Pharmacology for the Spring 2019? I believe we do not need to be in the program to take that, please correct me if I am wrong. Good luck everyone.

Hi! I don’t believe Kingwood was open for Fall ADN application. However, you should be able to get in to one of those schools with your score. Can I ask why you did not apply to Montgomery? I’m trying to get some input into each of the campuses. You can certainly take Pharm in the Spring-it’s better to knock it out now, rather than when you’re in the nursing program!
Oh sorry, I meant to write Montgomery, not Kingwood. I do hope i get into my first choice, Cyfair, as it is about 20mins drive from my house, while other campuses are almost an hour away. I would have registered for Pharm this spring, but i believe it's a bit too late considering classes began 3 weeks ago, I am sure I will be way behind if I go ahead and register. However, I will certainly register it for summer. You're right, they highly recommend knocking off as many courses as possible to alleviate the stress from nursing school work-loads.

That's exactly who I emailed, and it seemed like she just gave a standard answered because it's probably a questions she gets a lot.
