Hey everyone, just wanted to start a Fall 2018 page for Lone Star ADN/LVN future students!

HELLO!

Wondering if you guys got a calculator on the math section on the HESI A2? I've heard you do get one but is it always available? Also if you took it at a lonestar testing center or somewhere else?

Yes there is a calculator on the computer available. I took the test at the tomball location.I had a lot of ration questions on my test. Probably 80 percent of my questions

I can only speak for Lone Star Montgomery, but I was handed a tiny, basic, calculator by the staff that I had for the entire test. I had a lot of fill in the blank ratio and fraction questions and metric conversions on my math portion.

I took my test at the Montgomery campus and was given a calculator. They'll either give you one or one should show up on the computer. Best of luck! I found that to be the easiest section.

I heard you have to get approval to take Pharmacology, is that true or can you take it without?

I don't think so if you already had micro...I didn't at cyfair..check with your campus

Who did you take it with at Cyfair? I'm looking and I can't find any offered at Cyfair.

Cyfair allowed me to register but i am currently taking professor Noeller at north harris
