Yes! It's going to feel like a long wait no matter what. Imagine six months ago when Hurricane Harvey created such devastation and the application period really did get extended. I was in a micro class with two students who both got in and are now enrolled in the Cy-Fair ADN program that began Spring 2018. The wait was so hard, and even with the delay in the application period, they were still notified as early as October 2nd!

Me too!!! So ready! Already checking my emails like a crazy person and they won't be sent out til April but oh well lol

Hoping for Montgomery but I honestly will go anywhere I just want to get in and start already. Good luck to everyone! I keep checking my email hoping my acceptance letter will be sent out soon lol.

This is me! I wish last fall's thread had what the per-campus cutoff's were. I'll just be happy if I have the privilege of starting in the fall.

Would we have been notified if we needed to re-submit something? I figured whatever we submitted was final and if it wasn't correct then they'd just pass you.... and I'm so paranoid about missing out because of a technicality. ugh

How hard is micro? I've taken my ap 1&2, nutrition, psychology, philosophy, sociology, English 1302. Im enrolled for pharm in summer 1 and was thinking of doing micro in the summer 2 but everyone says it's really hard? Anyone have advice that has taken micro in summer?

I took it in Summer 2004 with Lone Star's worst rated micro professor (I was shocked he is still in the system and is still getting the same complaints I had of him). I decided to switch to business because of that class. Now, in 2004 I was a horrible student. I lacked motivation and discipline. I didn't study for the final, at all, and still passed with a C+. I'm retaking it (with a better professor) this summer and am not worried. It will require a lot of discipline and focus, for sure, but it is also a doable challenge. I personally am wanting it out of the way so I don't have to worry about it AND nursing courses at the same time.

I'm taking Micro and then Pharmacology this summer. From what I have heard, it makes Pharmacology easier to have already taken Micro.

I'm taking them at the same time. I can see how it would have been a bit easier to take Micro. They do talk a lot about the same things.

I'm glad to hear I convinced you! Honestly I really do love Nh. So you have to study and some professors are better than others but honestly I thought a&p was so much harder than nursing school in terms of content. So nursing school is more of a balancing act, like a lot of work in each class but the material isn't impossible. If there is something I really don't understand then I go to YouTube. The resources are endless there. I am actually getting ready to start applying to bsn programs. I'm starting to get info. I have had a lot of good things about ut, uta, utmb, and tech.

Good luck and hope to see ya next year!

Nclex was a 92% pass. You can see all the schools pass rate on the state non.

So clincials are one day a week, the first semester a lot of us go to long term care facilities. This second semester we get to do med surg and then visits to er, l&d, or

I‘ve been hearing a lot of good things about Tomball and NH...my first choice is cyfair because it's closer to my home!!

Can I ask you...what does your schedule look like at Lonestar?

I want to see how many days a week I would need my mom's help with my baby and if I would be able to continue breastfeeding while going to nursing school.
