Final grades aren't posted until May 15th and then you have to have transcripts sent and it takes two days to process the request. Thank you so much for bringing this up!! I was hoping my professors would enter in grades before the deadline. In the past, most of my professors entered in grades pretty quickly. Please keep me updated though! I’ll definitely need to know what to do in the even that they take forever to enter in final grades ? do you think we’ll need to send in proof that we’ve earned our bachelors?

I looked at PHSC too, but I haven’t taken my TEAS. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t waive that requirement with the circumstances? I’m currently going through the application process for Galen, but I would love to go through the HCC/USF concurrent program. USF’s ABSN program was my goal but life happens and I wasn’t able to achieve a perfect GPA. I think they’d laugh at me if I applied with a 3.0 LOL

It could be a possibility that they ask for us to send proof after the fact, but at the same time, they don't really factor that in to admissions. And I know, some colleges are offering the ATI TEAS test online by using Proctorio, so if you're able to, look into that on the ATI TEAS website. And I feel as though PHSC won't waive the TEAS test requirement because they base their applications off a point system (whereas I don't know if HCC does that, but a few others on here have said that HCC doesn't even look at the TEAS test requirement once they see that you've met that 60 or above,) so that could be a possibility as to why PHSC won't suspend that requirement. But I've been going through the application process for Galen too, it's just so expensive to go there and want that to be my last option if no others are available. And I applied to USF as well for the Summer and fall program but unfortunately didn't get in for Summer so I'm just waiting to here for the fall. My pre-req GPA for HCC is a 3.88 but my overall GPA is a 3.3 and I know that's all USF pays attention to. But you never know! It can't hurt to apply to USF, who knows what may happen!

Yes I just sent my application in via email and my pre-req GPA is 3.048. I didn’t care about my grades at 18 but now at 26 I changed my mind and want to become a nurse.Good luck to you my friend and I hope we make it!

My name is Chris . I just sent my nursing application in via email for the fall 2020 entry. I have my Bachelors in business administration and recently decided that the medical field is where I am meant to be. I know my pre req GPA is low but I am praying for the best. I wish everyone good luck!

So admissions said that if you wanted to send your transcript, make sure you send a copy of the payment date and it has to show that it was done before the deadline. But I went ahead and sent a transcript as my grades are now, and then I also ordered a transcript to be sent once final grades are posted. I submitted my application yesterday and included a copy of the receipt from ordering my transcripts. But, I already completed my pre-req courses needed in previous semesters and I think that's all they really want to look at, but I did both just to be safe. And good luck to you as well!

Okay great that’s really helpful to know. If I don’t go ahead and send them as they are now then I’ll send in my proof of purchase before the deadline. I also read in an email from USF that if you need proof of your degree before it’s posted you can email someone to request it, but I can’t find the email now. If I find it I’ll let you know! My pre-req GPA is a 3.89 & my overall GPA is a 3.9. Good luck guys!

I really just prefer Dale because that’s where I’ve been going and it’s closest so literally any time works for me.
