Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:
overall gpa- 3.35
pre req gpa-3.5
teas- 75%
Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

Oh, no the first time I took it, I received a D and it was at my old university. The professor ended up just not showing up that day and exam times were mixed up; typically speaking, he was not a good teacher at all. This time around, I had Professor McClain for my lecture (not a good choice) and Professor Myria Evans for my lab. I'm passing Professor's Evans class with an A and I just found out a few minutes ago I'll be passing the lecture with a C. It's only because McClain is a bit fresh to teaching and is really young, in my opinion. Professor Evans really cares about her students and provided us with the necessary information we needed to pass her class. I'm taking my experience from this semester and I have her for BSC 2086 and BSC 2086L.
I also got a D in my Microbiology class during the Spring semester, but passed the lab with a B. I had two different professors that time, too. I recommend always taking the same professors for lecture and lab, because so far, in my experience, the lecturing professor doesn't know what their doing or is just generally lazy.
My pre-reqs GPA may end up as a 2.9 (I have a 3.000/2.000 currently), but I'm hoping it doesn't since I have an A in the lab. If it does, I'll just pass the classes I'm registered for this Fall with As and Bs, and that should do it. I wonder if they're wavering TEAS for next year as well?

In the screenshots of the email provided, HCC just said to keep checking your emails and such because they have an undetermined amount of applicants for the Fall 2020 Nursing program so acceptance may or may not continue to be delayed for you guys.

Hey, sorry to respond so late to you. Back in May, I sent an email to the health science advisor, and they sent me this canned response that included the filling info regarding taking the same class more than 2 times....

Oooh, they’re gonna give me a half point for MAC 1105 then, but everything else I’m good on, thank you!

I've been silently sitting back and reading all the good information provided by all of you. I do have a question and I do apologize if this question was already answered.
Does anyone know the different times that each Cohort starts??
thanx in advance
From what I've seen, Cohort 1 (morning) can start anywhere from 7:00-10:00, Cohort 2 (afternoon) from 9:00-1:00, and Cohort 3 (evening/weekend) from 1:00-5:00

@rrodriguez212 If you're still out there, LOL, do you know what time the morning and afternoon cohort classes end? Are the hours 7a-11a and 9a-1p? or something like that? I'm more curious about the morning cohort times.. Thanks!
