Fall 2020 Hillsborough Community College

Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:

overall gpa- 3.35

pre req gpa-3.5

teas- 75%

Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

Specializes in Marketing/communications/Science.

Good over here... refresh, refresh, refresh. Can’t believe we still haven’t heard. Has anyone asked them yet when they expect to send out notifications?

I did and they just say 4-6 weeks

I'm thinking we will find out Wednesday I could be wrong though I was hoping sooner. But it is what it is, completely out of our hands

Just curious, why do you say Wednesday? I was definitely hoping we would hear something today (Wishful thinking I guess LOL,) I’m just hoping it’s soon!!

This Friday marks six weeks so I would think we would find out no later than that. I know a lot of people have said that they don’t pay attention to the estimate of 4-6 weeks that they gave us, but I just can’t imagine waiting beyond that

The reason I say Wednesday is because I was looking back on the previous semester and they found out on a Wednesday. I hope as well though it is sooner. I am on the edge just like you. ?

I am thinking we will find out next week! After the deadline, the evaluation period can take between 4 to 6 weeks!?? ??

This Friday marks six weeks from the deadline!

I think the 26th marks the 6 week mark! I’m hoping it doesn’t take more than that, but I believe this Friday will make it 6 weeks since the deadline

The evaluation period ends this 29th ? I hope we can receive that official admission notification soon! My anxiety is driving me crazy!

So I just want to give everyone an update. I just received an email from Pasco Hernando State College about their nursing program (which I applied to even though they kept pushing their application deadline back,) and the email stated that they’ve decided that they’re not going to even be accepting students for the Fall because of COVID and lack of clinical sites, and that if we want, we can submit our application for the Spring semester... so I was warned by a few people that are nurses (including my mom,) that that may be what’s going to happen with HCC. I’m not saying that that’s what’s going to happen for HCC (because I don’t know), but that’s a good possibility and I just wanted to update everyone on what other nursing schools are doing.

I really hope HCC doesn’t do that to us after waiting all this time. If that’s the case, I wonder If we will get refunded the application fee since it wouldn’t go towards anything.
