Hi, I will be applying to hcc for fall 2020. My stats are:

Do I have a chance of getting into the program for the fall term?

Ohh yes, I mean is this the only thread online that you guys have seen for this specific semester? I haven’t seen any other (except for the different years and semesters). It looks like others in the past created threads on FB too or were following other websites. Thanks ?

Oh OK. No I haven’t seen any other threads. I know that after everyone received their decisions, the ones who are accepted make a facebook group to stay in touch throughout the process. ?

Thanks & that’s awesome. I hope we all get accepted and making our own FB thread for our cohorts ?

Just in case anyone wants to apply for Spring 2021 the school has waived the TEAS for August 15th deadline as well! I wish everyone the best of luck!

Hey everybody. Quick question, did anyone else’s anticipated completion date under progress towards degree reqs change to May 14th 2022?? Could this be a good sign or am I thinking too much LOL ?

I was hoping it is, but mine has been at that date since before they had all of my pre-req courses/transcripts and it hasn’t changed since

Negative thinking brings negative outcomes. Our GPA’s are basically the same. I’m going to try my best to remain positive throughout this duration. I’m hoping that not as many people applied due to covid19. I want to be a Nurse so bad and literally have everything all planned out just waiting on that acceptance letter to get it all in place. We got this and try to stay positive ?????

You’re absolutely right! I’m hoping for the best but I know that no matter what, I’m gonna make it happen and become a nurse and eventually reach my goal of achieving my DNP. We all got this and I believe in everyone!

Specializes in Certified Surgical Technician.

If you make it into the program, what are the next steps? Does anyone know? Is there a specific orientation or meeting? Also, is anyone taking Summer elective classes while we wait to hear back? I considering taking a few of my electives now, so my nursing class load isn’t so heavy. Plus, it will keep me busy until I know more.

From reading previous semesters posts, we will have an orientation in July where we meet our professors, get drug tested, meet our cohort group, try on scrubs etc. we will also have to get required vaccinations.

I’m not too sure what the next steps are , but I think @chrisjamal1 is right from the previous post I’ve read so far.

Also, I’m taking a few classes for the Summer. One of them is chem health and lab since it fills the slot for AA and BSN once I transfer (I hope) to USF after.

I have another question when you go to pay the application fee the $53 online where do you go to pay it? Is it on make a payment under financial information on webadvisor or someplace else? Also do you just screenshot that you paid and include that with the application?
