Hey everyone! Wanted to go ahead and start a thread for our group. I've been following the spring and summer 2013 group a little and figured it might be a good idea to get focused for the fall 2013 group. I've completed all my prerequisites and took my NAT test. Got a 107 on the test and I'm sitting at a 93 will all the prerequisites. So I'm going into the application process with a 203. Does anyone know what the general cut off is? I'm a bit nervous but I'm sure everyone else is too. The only thing I haven't completed is the CPR. I read once that this can be done after acceptance into the program...is that true? Thanks everyone! Can't wait to start chatting!

Re: Worksource - after you apply online, you will take two assessments (1.5 and 3.5 hours long), gather up some paperwork, call and make an appt. for an interview (this is where I am in the process. My interview is next week and I'm not sure what comes next).
Re: Medicals/ I had a question about titers/shots and left a message for Dr Seabrook last week. She called me back today. My question was "can I forgo the titers and just get the shots and provide proof?" The answer was, no. I was instructed to get the titers, and then the doc would decide whether I needed boosters and would make that notation on the FSCJ paperwork. Dr Seabrook went on to say that the hospitals require us to have titers and if we get shots without titers first, then we can't get titers for a few months and if we can't get titers we won't be able to start the program in the Fall. SO GLAD SHE CALLED ME TODAY because I went to the health dept last week to get shots (thankfully, they were closing for the day and wouldn't see me). I went back this morning and they had a two hour wait so I decided to pay a little more and scheduled an appointment with Century for Wednesday! If I had not received this info, I would be out for Fall... just like that! Based on this information and her telling me I wouldn't be able to start in the Fall if I got shots without titers, I don't believe they will allow for any extensions.
Re: Uniforms/ I am a small 16 and ordered an XL top thinking I'd have plenty of room in there to move around seeing as how Meridy's website claims their tops run big. Well, that isn't my experience and the top is, in fact, SNUG. I will need to return it for a 2X. I went to the uniform outlet over on Beach/University and picked up some inexpensive white pants for $14 that fit nicely.

Hey guys ! Does anyone know if there is any possible way to get an extension for the physicals and titers? I have everything else done but I'm having a hard time making the deadline for that. Also, I'm thinking about starting a Facebook page for us all to use to keep in touch if that is cool with everyone else .
