fall to CSUEB, for 2017 nursing program ??? !!

Published

Is anyone applying to cal state east bay this fall for fall 2017 ???! nursing program

I hope you're right :)

Simsim3...You'll get in, for sure.

Hey! I'm sure you'll get in as well!!

I have a habit of worrying but I feel confident in my scores.

I believe that the concord program is a quarter shorter than the hayward one, so I'm sure you'll like it!

I would like to go to the hayward campus because it is much closer to my home.

Simsim3,

I completely understand the habit of worrying...I suffer from the same habit! Haha.

I think both Hayward and Concord are switching to the semester system, unfortunately. :( The program will now be a full 3 years. I could be wrong though.

Yes, they are!

They switch in 2018 but concord will have one summer required, thus making their overall program a bit shorter.

However, nothing is set in stone.

Applied, Stats:

GPA: 3.76

TEAS: 94

Military

No Language or healthcare

I have a C in English 1A, from about 10 years ago which dropped my GPA to a 3.76, and would have been a 3.92 with an A in English, other than that I have a 94 on TEAS and Military, which doesn't hold any weight with SAC. I calculated my points, I have 73. Not going to make it, but I'll apply anyways. I heard the program at SAC is pretty tough, but as far as NCLEX pass rates they are the bomb, right up there with CSULB.

Hi all! So I retook my TEAS test and I went up a whopping total of 3 points hahah but I'll take it. But like I said before I always looked at everyone else's stats so I'm going to update them.

Pre-req GPA: 3.87

TEAS 90.0

No other points. Not military.

Also make sure you guys check your emails because I recently got one from CSUEB saying that: if you needed to update your application for any reason to do for before the 14th and you have to make sure to hit the blue button that says "Update my Application" so that they'll see it.

truebluefoo

You're definitely going to get in!

If you have military experience, they require you to just meet the minimum requirements, so you will be accepted into the program!

May the odds be ever in our favor!

Does anyone have experience with the current nursing program at CSUEB, pros and cons ? Much appreciated

CSUEB is currently going through a transition from the quarter system to semester. This is making the overall program go from two years to three years for the 2017 class. That's one con of the program.
