Hello Everyone! After much consideration I have decided to apply for CSN ADN and then I will do the RN-BSN program at NSC. It is more cost effective for me that way. I am in the summer Biol-189 course right now with hopes of getting into AP1 for Fall 2017. I am planning on taking Micro online with Marian University to get some more points in before the March 1, 2018 deadline. Then AP 2 in the Spring!
Is there anyone else out there working on Fall 2018 admission? Where are you in the process???
Have any of you heard about the cutoff points for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2017 cohorts? I wanted to apply for the part time, but considering CSN only accepts 16 people vs the 100+ for the full time, in addition to that I won't have everything done then full time it is for me.
Good of luck to you all! 😊
I'm not sure what the cut off is for extended track...I THINK I remember seeing in past threads here that people weren't getting into extended track with anything less than 35? Not sure how true that is now though. With so little spots available for extended track I would want high points!
That's absolutely ridiculous if they don't let you apply to both tracks. What is the harm in applying to both tracks you get excepted to both? All you have to do is turn one spot down and give it to an alternate no harm no foul but why make somebody apply to the extended track with so few spots and give up an entire year basically if they don't get in when I could have gotten into the full-time

I don't hutbim guessing this was a last minute decision because I called last week like Tuesday asking about part time she was positive part time was gone forever! Then Thursday part time was back on this cycle. I NEED part time, butbwith o my 16 spots I asked if we could apply to both tracks and she wasn't sure. But I'll bebapplying with 36-37 points hoping for extended
