Hello Everyone! After much consideration I have decided to apply for CSN ADN and then I will do the RN-BSN program at NSC. It is more cost effective for me that way. I am in the summer Biol-189 course right now with hopes of getting into AP1 for Fall 2017. I am planning on taking Micro online with Marian University to get some more points in before the March 1, 2018 deadline. Then AP 2 in the Spring!
Is there anyone else out there working on Fall 2018 admission? Where are you in the process???
Have any of you heard about the cutoff points for the Fall 2017 and Spring 2017 cohorts? I wanted to apply for the part time, but considering CSN only accepts 16 people vs the 100+ for the full time, in addition to that I won't have everything done then full time it is for me.
Good of luck to you all! 😊
Hey everyone! Been bouncing between this site and the CSN Fall 2018 Facebook group! I just turned in my application to the L.E. office on Tuesday - I have a meeting with the L.E. program advisor on 1/29 to review my application! Going in with low points (20 - OUCH. Kind of embarassing!) as I'm taking 251 and 224 this semester and won't have those 15 pts to apply with. I haven't been able to get a meeting with an advisor for this semester yet (EVERYTHING IS TAKEN 0_0) but I'm VERY glad to hear that some of you have spoken with advisors that have stated that people have been getting in with low points. THERE'S HOPE! haha
Aside from my last two Bio pre reqs, everything is complete for me. I took my TEAS last summer and passed and I have no waivers. I don't know too many people applying this semester (I've been asking all the people in my pre req classes to see where they're at!) so hopefully - based on these boards and the 15ish people in the Facebook group, we all look like we might have a fighting chance if no more than 120 people apply! I dunno if you can tell, but I'm super hyped right now! Nervous and excited at the same time.
How are you all feeling!? :)

Hi, I also just turned in my application on Wednesday. I have 25 points so I am very nervous as well, I'm currently taking Bio 251 and Com 101 so that's 10 points but we'll see what happens! What is the name of the facebook group?
Facebook group is called: CSN Nursing Fall 2018. There is also another one called: CSN Nursing Students Rock! which is for all past, current, and prospective RN program students! You'll have to ask to join as it's closed membership, but they will approve you :)
-------------- is an advisor for the School Of Health Sciences (copied this from CSN's website). Her phone number is (702) 651-4415 for anyone that wants to confirm information! She's very nice :)
I'm very glad to hear that part time has opened up again! I passed the TEAS, have 0 waivers/memos, but I have pretty low points (20 - ouch!). I'm taking 251 and 224 this semester at CSN so those missing 15 points kinda hurt...but I still have hope! I turned my application in on Tuesday (1/16) and have an appointment with the L.E. Coordinator to go over my application to make sure I am not missing any documents!
Other than that, just trying to be patient for application deadline and getting through these last two classes! :)
