I really enjoy the helpful information, support and tips found on this site and thought I'd start a thread for fall Mane program applicants.
I am currently on the wait list for Century Fall 2016. Composite score is 11.22 Someone in another thread said they were told by admissions that there are 45 people on the list with scores ranging from 10.94-11.33. My Teas score after a few attempts was 75. Not sure if I want to take again if not selected for Fall 2016 from the wait list, or just resubmit the same score-I know that after the June 1st application deadline for Spring 2017, the Teas 6 will need to be submitted Anyone with thoughts on this?
Also, I am seeing a trend with people going to Rassmussen to avoid the reapply and wait process...anyone with thoughts on that? Trying to stay positive about being selected off the wait list for fall, but also trying to be realistic about finishing school sooner rather than later.
Any thoughts/opinions and updates if you've heard any news on the wait list movement is appreciated!
GRue2016, I don't know if this info helps or not, but I am the student who had to file the appeal for the transcript issue and I got my acceptance letter last week on Thursday admitting me to the Century Fall 2016 cohort. On my acceptance letter it stated I had to reply with my answer by April 29th. I am thinking all the letters that went out last week were for the appeals, and they have to wait until after tomorrow the 29th to see how many of us accept our spots. Once they know that, then they can probably send out the next round of letters for the next students on the waitlist. I don't know this for sure, but from talking with other classmates who are waiting, they have not heard anything yet either and their scores are similar to yours. Hang in there....you have a good plan and I know you are going to succeed at some point, so don't give up!!! I also second the no Rassmussen, I know one of the instructors and things aren't always well there.....don't want to say more than that.

I'm definitely not going to go to Rasmussen-it was a small thought in my head at one point though! The debt alone would kill me in the end! I broke out the Teas manual this weekend and am studying hard daily...signed up for the 5/25 test day! I'm praying I wont need to take it, but will if I don't see a letter before then. My highest score was 75- if I got it up to an 80 my comp score would be 11.75. I was so excited to hear your good news and then so down when a letter didn't come-it still may not, but I was so happy to see this post today-as I bet you are right on the money with your thoughts! Congratulations again to you! And thanks for brightening this gloomy day! Let me know if you hear any other hopeful news!!!

Omg!!!!! Congratulations I'm so happy for you! You definitely deserve this!!
I have not read all the comments, but in my opinion I would retake the TEAS. I did not get into waiting list for Fall 16 and I was at 11.12. ( I just applied at NHCC). However I took the test again and I got 82 points, now I reapply for Spring 17 and my total score is 11.9. According to the advisers they are pretty sure I will get in. Take the test again before you spedn all that money in Rasmussen
Why do you say the fall program is more competitive? I submitted my first application to the spring program and was accepted with a score of 13.2 (4.0 GPA, 92% on TEAS).
The fall is more competitive for sure but I think it is due to the amount of students applying. Your score is amazing so you would have gotten in right away in the fall regardless. I had a comp score of 11.14 and I eventually got in for fall at century but that was after being on the waitlist for 3 months however for spring (I applied again just in case) I got an acceptance letter right away. So I really do think it's about how many people are applying.
I am about apply for Fall 2018. My TEAS for 1st is 78.7%, GPA 4.0 which made my total score 11.87. I wonder if I have chance for Metro state or Century? ( coz Fall is more competitive)
Do you think I need to redo the TEAS. I haven't finished my A&P classes yet ( that make my Science score 65% ( ).
Every admission round can be different depending on how many people are applying etc. but I got in fall 2016 at century with a 11.14 so stay positive and try to apply to as many Mane schools as possible. Good luck!!
