If you meet all of the qualifications for the program at CAC and apply, you get in. IF there is no room that semester, you are grandfathered into the next semester. That is how it is right now, but it could change. There are looking for a new dean of nursing. I applied in October, had my interview in December, but was grandfathered into the Fall 2008 class since I did not have my CNA certification as of the interview.

thanks for the info. i dont know what to think. i had my interview two weeks ago and i have everything complete, im just not sure if there will be enough slots to cover all appllicats plus those grandfathered. i did hear that there is a great possibility that they wil be taking more students into this class becuase of the demand. that can from one of the professors. so im not sure. They said i would hear something no later than june 1st but from previous experiance i know that is not always th case. hope for the best, expect the worst!!!!

i did actually i got it for fall 08. i actually never recieved the letter that kristy sent out becuase i moved so i should have known long before i did. i guess it is a good thing i called her when i did.... looks like we will be in class together.... since i did not recieve any of the paperwork is there anything i need beside the physician statement and cpr certification??? she told me to bring a checkbook but im not sure if we hit on everything...... are you ready to start the program?:clpty:

Im very excited to meet everyone and hope to have a wonderful experience and make many new friendships. Hi!

My name is Rhonda and I will be starting in August. I cannot believe it is almost time.... I have four kids and will continue to be a stay at home mother. Three of the children will be in school all day, so that gives me so more study time.

I am looking forward to meeting new people and meeting new friends.

sounds like we have a similar situation. i have 4 children as well. only 2 of mine will be in school though. i am a little nervous on how well i will be able to handle everythign with the school and kids. have any plans of attack>?

No lol and I am going crazy and stressing myself out trying to figure out how to do it all....But I have come to the conclusion that I will not know until school actually begins.

How old are your children? Maybe we could get together and the kids could play while we study lol

Hi Nicole, thaks for the message. I have heard that there is a new director for the nursing divison this year, so it should be interesting for all. Can't wait to meet you on the 14th, make sure you bring your check book..I think it will be an expensive day!! Ha Ha.. Take care..
