Hello all. I have recently applied to Fairmont State University (West Virginia) LPN to RN "Hybrid Option" I have been an LPN for 2 years, but have worked in nursing for the past 10 years. I know that all programs are competitive, but I wonder if any applicants or past student recall what their TEAS test scores were? There is no current "scoring sheet" to give me a better idea of what my chances are. I have a 3.5 GPA, and all pre reqs completed for my Pre BSN. .
Just looking to see if anyone can give me an idea of what they had when they applied and were accepted. Thank you in advance

Don't quote me, but I think the passing for tease is a 65 or 68 but I only had a 70 and I got in also I don't know about the pre-Rex expiring but I'm assuming maybe five years if you need to retake some pre-Rex I will strongly suggest taking them through portage learning with Geneva College although you pay out-of-pocket, it is the best way to get pre-Reqs done. The school uses ATI and it is embedded into all of your assignments so all of the ATI assignments count towards assignment points and they have lockdown browser exams and the exams. The instructors make up themselves.

The online classes are amazing because all of the lectures you listen to at your leisure because they're pre-recorded and the assignments are due by like a due date and all of the assignments are in ATI

It was no big deal. I think that it's a great way to finish our RN and give you a little vacation I booked the hotel in Fairmont at the Holiday Inn And I booked the car through Turo. Steals lab sometimes gets canceled and they'll give you something virtually to do but overall the program is very doable and you won't have a lot of times to go to West Virginia in the last part of Clinicals . They place you with 2 different nurses and then you schedule your preceptorship schedule yourself. I would definitely recommend the program. I feel so blessed to now be a RN (I passed NCLEX 85 questions; 1st time)
thank you for your reply. hopefully I get in this Summer term. I'm kinda nervous my TEAS scores were great but they said they get a lot of applicants
Has anyone else applied to Fairmont LPN to ASN? for the ones that applied and got in do they email the acceptance letter or mail it out to you? I did not have all my prex done but I am working on my last two now nutrition and English 2. My advisor told me this is the last term they are accepting students without all their prex done and no longer doing test outs on A & P and nutrition. My TEAS score was 82% and I have a 3.2 GPA.
